Vacation Practice

Ann, pictured here, sells vacations from her Long Island Levittown home. Most of her clients do not know where they want to go on their holidays. I designed a series of curtains for them to rehearse or practice this trip. Longer than normal window dressings Ann’s “enactment” curtains start at a window drape over chairs, floors, tables, bushes, lawns, and potential clients. This project was made in collaboration with Adam Bandler and Jessica Rivera and was sponsored by Droog and Diller Scofidio + Renfro.
