The best dance floor is a tight one, bodies pressing against one another in a shared experience. This architectural robot commissioned by Detroit based Wasserman Projects engorges and disgorges with air to move at butoh-like speed to continually reconfigure the spaces available to dance within. Set to a soundtrack from early Detroit techno, it produces a haunting dark space.
