Commissioned by Berlin’s +-0 Nightclub in the former Postbanhof building, these two interactive installations play with visitors’ relationships over time. In Sometimes Seating, the arm and back rests of the large seating structures inflate and deflate at different times to continually create and then remove barriers between people. Dance Floor is an octagonally shaped space for revelers made from two-way mirrors. When lit from within, it creates an infinity experience for revelers on the inside to see themselves and places them on show for those on the outside. The lighting then reverses for people within to see those on the outside, voyeur and exhibitionist roles always reversing.
